Are you prepared for the dental entrance exam?
Vestibular season coming up, now what? Am I ready?
We know that the entrance exam for dentistry is a very important challenge in the lives of all of us students, and that we must prepare ourselves to the maximum so that when the day comes, the tension is not great and we can do as well as planned.
But, where to start studying and how to organize?
We have separated some tips that can be fundamental for this preparation. Check out:
1. Organization
This is a very valuable tip! You get organized when it comes to studying, schedule what you are going to study, how much time per day / week, where you are going to study, and have described it all. We have the habit of wanting to do everything at once, to study all the subjects together, and this does not work, because in the end everything gets confusing and we have the feeling that we study a lot, but we do not absorb anything.
2. Noise off
When studying, avoid being in places where family members are close by talking or where there is television. Also, avoid leaving your phone close to avoid distractions. Any noise at that time can be crucial to lose focus and consequently make study hours unprofitable.
3. Post-its and diagrams
Post-its can be a great ally! Because it is colorful, it is perfect for making diagrams, writing key words like, for example: equations, molecules and short phrases that help you remember at the time of the test. Our brain captures these photographic memories more easily, so invest in them.
4. Abstracts
A great tip is also the strategic summaries. After reading and studying enough as scheduled, pick up a sheet and summarize everything you remember and consider important. Thus, when you go to study again, the summary will make it easier to remember all the content.
5. YouTube
YouTube can be your best friend at these times, believe me! There are countless video lessons that can help you learn something that didn't work out for you, or help you remember certain things more easily. But don't forget that it is a great distraction too. Caution!
After these valuable tips, did you set out to study and prepare for the mud bath?
