Tribute to Prosthetic Day

Dental Prosthetic Day is celebrated annually in Brazil on November 5th. The date celebrates and honors the professionals responsible for producing implants, prostheses, dental appliances, molds for tooth whitening and other works that assist the dental treatment that dentists do.

Prosthetics do not usually work directly with the end customer, but in a system of intermediation with the dentist, who orders the prostheses necessary for their patients. This is a profession that is inextricably linked to dentistry.

To become prosthetic, it is necessary to complete the technical course in Dental Prosthesis, in an institution that is recognized by the Regional Council of Dentistry (CRO).
